Littlemill (silent) Lowland Single Malt Whisky (Old Bottling) 12 Year Old
Out of stock
A very clean and fresh Lowland malt from a lost distillery that has some of those lovely oily and herbal barley notes you get with the old fashioned Lowland malts of Bladnoch & Rosebank.
One of the few official bottles from this distillery that is now demolished.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Pale straw-gold, bright and clean with a sunlit gleam and a hint of honey.
Nose
Big barley with caramelised brown sugar on the nose, lifted by waxy citrus and herbal notes. An oily, malt-forward bouquet that hints at classic Lowland character, fresh, clean and inviting.
Palate
Ginger spice threads through fresh barley with a citrusy, waxy edge, unfolding dried apricot, toasted shortbread and a whisper of vanilla oil.
Finish
Waxy and lingering, with apricot jam, grassy barley and herb oil; honey on vanilla shortbread unfolds, finishing with a warm note of ginger spice.
