Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with sunlit honey reflections and a coppery bronze glow.
Nose
Warm vanilla cream and toasty oak rise first, followed by sun-kissed citrus zest and crisp pear with green apple. Subtle almond paste and marzipan weave through with gentle spice— nutmeg and white pepper— while a honeyed, barley-soft sweetness lingers. An elegant Lowland aroma, bright, refined and inviting.
Palate
On the palate, luxurious vanilla and caramel unfold into bright citrus zest and creamy toffee, carried by rich bourbon oak. Subtle coconut and toasted almond emerge, tempered by a refined peppery spice. Full-bodied and silky, it finishes with lasting oak, vanilla and a warm, lasting glow.
Finish
Long, warm and poised, the finish layers velvety vanilla and caramel from the bourbon cask with polished oak. Spices bloom—cinnamon, ginger—giving a gentle bite that gates into citrus zest and toasted almond as the warmth slowly fades, leaving a silky, elegant sweetness and a lingering sense of Lowland grace.
