Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a warm coppery glow and subtle mahogany undertones.
Nose
Opulent, sherried aroma of poached pear and golden apple, with orchard brightness. Dried fig and sultana mingle with vanilla, toffee, and a hint of orange zest. Subtle oak spice—cinnamon and clove—threads through a warm, resinous sweetness, finishing with polished, velvety wood.
Palate
Bold and silky on the palate, with orchard fruit and lemon zest balancing creamy vanilla and toffee. Its 60% strength carries a warm, oak-spun spice—white pepper, nutmeg and a touch of cinnamon—never harsh, but clearly assertive. Dried-fruit notes nibble at the edges as a subtle almond and honeyed sweetness lingers into a long, polished finish.
Finish
Long, warming finish of rich sherry fruit—prune and raisin—folded with toasted oak and dark chocolate. A spiced, lingering fade that gently dries the palate, leaving a refined, nutty echo.
