Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep golden amber with coppery highlights and a burnished, honeyed rim
Nose
Aromas of ripe orchard fruit—pears and apples—rise with warm vanilla and honey, while almond, toffee and creamy oak frame the nose. Sherry-influenced depth brings dried figs and raisins, a touch of cocoa and spice, all polished by a silky, velvety sweetness and a faint citrus zest.
Palate
Sumptuously viscous on the palate, it unfolds with warm toffee and ripe orchard fruit—golden apple and pear—against silky malt and honeyed vanilla. Sherry-cask influence brings dark fruit, raisin, cocoa, and roasted almond with a touch of spice. Bright orange zest lifts the richness, finishing with a drying, nutmeg-kissed, lingering glow.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish with dried fruit, fig and orange zest, wrapped in rich sherry, cocoa and vanilla. Velvet oak lingers with spice, fading to a warm, honeyed glow.
