Lagavulin 16 Year Old is one of the most iconic and respected Islay single malts in the world. Often referred to as the “King of Islay”, this whisky has been distilled and matured on the shores of Lagavulin Bay since 1816.
Matured for 16 years, it delivers the classic Lagavulin character — rich, powerful, and beautifully balanced. With its distinctive peat smoke, maritime notes, and underlying sweetness, Lagavulin 16 is a benchmark Islay whisky that continues to set the standard for peated single malts.
Best Served: Lagavulin 16 is best enjoyed neat or with just a drop of water to open up its full complexity. Avoid adding ice, as it can mute the delicate balance of smoke and sweetness.
