Opulent and fruity, this non-peated Jura unfurls a bouquet of ripe orchard fruits—pears, apples, apricot—framed by sherry sweetness and vanilla from the Bourbon casks. A subtle sea-salt lift and coastal earthiness ribbons through, finishing with toasted almond and a whisper of spice.
Palate
Rich and fruit-forward on the palate, with orchard and citrus notes layered with raisins and a touch of fig. Vanilla and caramel from the bourbon influence mingle with a subtle sherry sweetness. A delicate saline edge hints at Jura’s coastal character, keeping the sweetness in check. Silky, medium-bodied with a creamy texture, finishing long and warming with lingering fruit and a soft, nutty note.
Finish
Long and fruit-driven, the finish lingers with a gentle sea-salt kiss and a whisper of sherry sweetness, warmed by Bourbon oak. Very moreish, it leaves an after-dinner glow that invites another sip.
