Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with warm coppery glints and honey-gold highlights, hinting at years of oak maturation and a satin, caramel-laced glow.
Nose
Aromas of aged oak and sweet vanilla mingle with caramel and light toffee. Subtle maple and dried orchard fruit rise, joined by warm spice: cinnamon, nutmeg, and a hint of rye. A whisper of leather, tobacco, and cedar lingers, shaping a refined, caramel-sweet, oak-driven bouquet.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied on the palate, delivering vanilla custard, toffee and caramel with bright orchard fruit. Aged oak adds gentle spice—cinnamon and nutmeg—alongside subtle maple sweetness; the finish is long, warm and refined, echoing spice and caramel.
Finish
Long, refined finish of toasted oak, vanilla and maple, with caramel-dried fruit sweetness unfolding into a gentle peppery spice. The warmth lingers, leaving a tobacco-brandy accord and softly resinous wood.
