Tasting Notes
Colour
Burnished deep amber with sunlit gold highlights and a subtle copper glow.
Nose
Amber and inviting, this nose opens with vanilla and caramel, caressed by toffee and honeyed grains. Subtle oak and cedar provide structure, while dried orchard fruits and a kiss of orange zest add warmth and depth. A gentle spice of cinnamon and clove lingers, like a seasoned whisky chest.
Palate
Silky, with warm vanilla and caramel upfront, marrying to creamy toffee. Subtle rye spice blooms alongside toasted oak, orange zest, and a whisper of maple. The mid-palate softens into almond and hazelnut notes, balanced by a light peppery bite. Long, mellow finish with gentle smoke and lingering sweet oak.
Finish
Silky, enduring finish of caramel and vanilla, with toasted oak and a whisper of spice. Dried fruit and citrus zest thread through the fade, leaving a warm, honeyed glow that lingers gracefully.
