Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with copper highlights and a burnished mahogany edge, gleaming like aged honey in the glass.
Nose
Rich sherry sweetness opens the nose, with dark fruits—prune, fig and raisin—layered over toasted almond and toffee. Subtle vanilla and caramel frame the core, while cinnamon and clove mingle with polished oak. A whisper of tobacco and espresso adds depth, finished by a velvety, resinous warmth.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied on the palate with a creamy graininess that hints at vanilla custard and toasted almond. A deep sherry influence brings pressed fig, dark raisin, treacle and cacao, brightened by orange zest and spice. Rich yet restrained by polished oak, with cinnamon, clove and a whisper of tobacco. The finish is long and warming, echoing dried fruit, cocoa and renewed orange zest with subtle oak.
Finish
A long, velvety finish of rich sherry sweetness, dried fruit, and toasted oak, with hints of dark chocolate, espresso, and spice that linger in a warm, elegant glow.
