Arrival is the Inaugural Whisky from Holyrood Distillery,marking the beginning of a journey of progression, innovation and experimentation.
This Single Malt uses traditional pot still malt anddistilling yeast which will form the flavor foundation of Holyrood Whiskies foryears to come. Future releases will incorporate heritage and specialty malts, alongsidea range of yeast strains to produce a diverse and complex array of flavours.
Holyrood Arrival was matured in a combination of OlorosoButts, Pedro Ximénez Hogsheads, Bourbon Barrels and Rum Barriques. This releaseis limited to just 8,188 bottles.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper highlights and a hint of mahogany, a warm, sunlit glow.
Nose
Dried fruit and tropical fruit rise with raisins, a whisper of butterscotch, fresh baked cake and sticky toffee pudding. Soft leather and biscuit add warmth and depth to the aroma.
Palate
On the palate, toffee and caramel lead with vanilla, followed by digestive biscuits and ginger spice, wrapped in butterscotch and tablet notes. A touch of savoury salinity and raisin sweetness threads through, finishing with a warm, inviting fruitiness.
Finish
A long, mouth-watering finish that lingers with juicy sweetness and delicate spice, fading into fruity notes of apple pie and red fruit.
