Arrival is the Inaugural Whisky from Holyrood Distillery,marking the beginning of a journey of progression, innovation and experimentation.
This Single Malt uses traditional pot still malt anddistilling yeast which will form the flavor foundation of Holyrood Whiskies foryears to come. Future releases will incorporate heritage and specialty malts, alongsidea range of yeast strains to produce a diverse and complex array of flavours.
Holyrood Arrival was matured in a combination of Oloroso Butts, Pedro Ximénez Hogsheads, Bourbon Barrels and Rum Barriques.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Dark amber with mahogany depth and a warm honey-gold glow.
Nose
Dried fruit and tropical fruit mingle with raisins, a hint of butterscotch, fresh-baked cake and sticky toffee pudding, with soft leather and biscuit notes.
Palate
Silky toffee and caramel lead, entwined with vanilla and digestive biscuits. Ginger spice and butterscotch weave through, with tablet sweetness and a touch of savoury salinity. Raisins add dark fruit depth, leaving a warm, lingering finish.
Finish
Long, mouth-watering finish; juicy sweetness weds with delicate spice. Fruity notes of apple pie and red berries linger, with a gentle warmth and a refined, spicy-sweet echo that invites the next sip.
