Nose

Waxy orange, earthy vanilla, gentle heather honey and smoke, ripe peaches with toffee sauce and malted biscuits.

Palate

Tinned peaches in syrup, smoked heather, nut brittle or nougart, dried apricot, oily orange, vanilla liquorice.

Finish

Malty toffee, smoked orange peel, spiced praline, coffee and walnut, muscat grapes.

(HY-land PARK) Highland Park was founded in Kirkwall in 1798, with the distillery tracing its start to Magnus Eunson, who obtained his first whisky-making licence that year. It remains one of Orkney’s best-known distilleries, and the island setting is central to the whisky’s identity, from the local peat to the maritime climate that shapes maturation.
