Hell's Stone Dunloe Blend Cornish Whisky
Out of stock
Hell's Stone Whisky is inspired by the Cornish legend of the Devil's ambition to take Cornwall for himself, and the battle that ensued, resulting in the creation of Hell’s Stone or Helston.
Distilled in a handmade copper pot still (affectionately named Jackson), the spirit is then aged in used oak barrels which contained craft beer produced at the distillery itself.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a coppery, sunlit glow.
Nose
Rich biscuit malt leads the nose, unfolding into caramel sweetness with vanilla and toffee. Subtle cocoa and coffee notes mingle with warm, beer-aged oak, while a bright citrus zest lifts the aroma. A whisper of coastal smoke echoes the Cornish legend, adding a gentle, maritime edge to a balanced, inviting aromatic profile.
Palate
On the palate, malty sweetness joins biscuit and toffee with creamy vanilla, a hint of dried fruit. Beer‑soaked oak delivers gentle toast and a citrus lift, while soft spice and cocoa weave through the mid-palate. Medium-bodied, smooth and warm, it closes with a subtle, hop‑tinged warmth and a lingering caramel finish.
Finish
Long and warming, the finish opens with toasted barley, caramel and biscuit, carried on a soft malt sweetness. Beer-soaked oak leaves a gentle hop-kissed bitterness, with cacao, dried fruit and spice drifting in, fading to a coastal warmth that lingers.
