First launched in 2006 and from the lesser known of the two Suntory owned distilleries (the other the mighty Yamazaki) and was at one point in the 1980's the largest distillery in the world! The 18 year old is aged in 1st and 2nd fill European oak.

Colour
Light golden straw, with a bright, sunlit glow and a delicate honey nuance.
Nose
Honey-dusted green apples meet herbal pear as jasmine and ginger lift the air; a wisp of smoke threads grassy and cereal notes, with a touch of new leather and a smoked apricot glow.
Palate
Salty apricot, stewed apples and pears infused with ginger, spiced vanilla, melon, silky cocoa, honey nut breakfast cereal.
Finish
Grassy and herbal, the finish lingers with melon and ginger, a delicate wisp of smoke, salty notes and the warm sweetness of vanillin oak.
