Triple cask matured in Ex-Bourbon & Ex-Sherry then for a final year or so in exclusive Red Bordeaux wine casks from one of the top rated estates in French winemaking. Lovely addition of red berry, spice and toasted oak notes to the classic pot still Green Spot style. Magical wine cask finished whiskey from the Midleton distillery.

Its roots go back to Mitchell & Son’s bonded whiskey trade, with the Spot name coming from the family’s old practice of marking maturing casks with coloured paint to indicate age.
