This 10-Year-Old Limited Release pays tribute to the whiskey’s history and heritage, reviving the original 10-year age statement first marked by Mitchell & Son with a green daub of paint, and offering a layered flavour profile of orchard fruits, warming spices and sweet vanilla. Bottled at 46% ABV, this elevated strength helps to accentuate the deep and rich fruit notes, while the enhanced aging also accentuates the wood spices and wine seasoned cask influences.

Colour
Rich golden amber with warm copper undertones and a sunlit, honeyed glow.
Nose
Opens with decadent aromas of floral honey, coffee cake and toffee, layered with autumnal fruits—sweet pear, blackberry and apple—lifted by lemon verbena and mint. Light dustings of nutmeg add warmth and complexity.
Palate
Cinnamon and nutmeg weave with vanilla and dried fruits, with dessert-like apple crumble notes layered over warming barley cereal.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish where pot-still spice, cinnamon and nutmeg, lingers alongside orchard fruits. Pear and apple notes drift with a warmed vanilla echo, tapering to a gentle wood-spice fade.
