Deep amber with coppery highlights and mahogany undertones.

Nose

Polished oak and twists of fresh orange mingle with stewed forest fruits; blackcurrant and blackberry, with subtle sherry and demerara sugar lingering.

Palate

Well-rounded and warming, it opens with cinnamon and nutmeg, evolving into roasted coffee bean and creamy chocolate. Tangy orange marmalade provides a lift, while the heart of the dram remains prominent, persisting through a long, comforting finish.

Finish

A wintry finish where coffee and chocolate deepen into rich, mature oak, leaving a warm, lasting glow.

Glentauchers
(Glen-TAW-kers) Glentauchers was founded near Mulben in 1897 by James Buchanan and W.P. Lowrie, with production beginning in 1898. Its early history was closely tied to blending from the outset, with James Buchanan & Co taking full ownership in 1906 before later becoming part of DCL in 1925. The distillery was expanded in 1966, closed during the whisky downturn in 1985, and returned to production in 1992.
