This Speysider is from Glenrothes. Distilled in 1996 and bottled in 2021, with only 194 bottles produced. Expect rich, deep orange flavours laced with intense cloves, dried fruits and muscovado sugar.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-orange hues.
Nose
Aromas of orange zest and mandarin oil rise first, followed by a buoyant wave of clove spice. Dried fruits—raisin and fig—mingle with dark muscovado sugar, kissed by sherry and a whisper of polished oak. Warm, velvety and inviting, with hints of caramel and crème brûlée.
Palate
Rich orange on the palate, with clove-spiced warmth and a saturated sweetness of muscovado sugar. Dried fig and raisin rise beside toffee notes, carried by sherry-cask depth. A velvety, mid-weight body coats the mouth, finishing with lingering spice and a touch of nuttiness.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish of orange zest and clove spice, with dried fruits and muscovado sugar lingering on a velvety Sherry glow. Subtle oak and caramel echo, fading to a refined, amber-tinged warmth.
