A well aged Glenrothes from The Single Malts of Scotland range. Distilled in 1989, this Glenrothes has spent over three decades in a single Hogshead cask. The extensive ageing has given this a warm soft herba character with a hint of rose and a solid oak foundation.

Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a honeyed glow—a warm, sunlit hue that hints at decades in oak.
Nose
Fragrant with pears and pineapples at the fore, softly herbaceous and gently floral. A delicate kiss of rose lingers, while warm oak provides a creamy, resinous backbone that hints at graceful complexity to come.
Palate
Orchard fruits mingle with citrus on the palate, woodier with hints of clove and spice and a resinous touch. A leafy, herbal edge lingers.
Finish
Long, fruity, grassy and spicy, the finish lingers with orchard fruits and citrus, bright herbal hints and a resinous touch, all carried on a warm oak backbone that slowly settles into a refined, lingering fade.
