A Single Cask bottling from The Glenrothes, bottled exclusively for the UK Market. Only 238 bottles have been produced.
Distilled in 1976 this was matured in a single, second fill American oak Hogshead. This is the oldest and third release in the first batch of UK single cask releases.
This is a rich and generous whisky that has lots of creamy sweetness on the nose with toffee, whipped cream and bananas. The palate continues the sweet notes with coconut, fudge, vanilla, pastry and toffee apple, this is very mouth filling and supple. The finish is delicate and lightly sweet with almond and coconut flakes and a dusting of icing sugar.

Deep amber-gold with radiant honey highlights and a soft copper glow.
Nose
Aromas of creamy sweetness with luscious toffee, whipped cream and bananas. Silky vanilla threads weave through the bouquet, hinting at pastry complexity and indulgence.
Palate
Silky, mouth-filling palate repeats the sweetness: coconut, fudge and vanilla entwine with pastry and toffee apple. Very supple, this creamy profile coats the palate with lasting, gentle sweetness.
Finish
A delicate, lightly sweet finish that lingers with almond and coconut flakes, touched by a whisper of icing sugar.
