Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with a coppery-bronze glow and mahogany edges.
Nose
Opulent Oloroso richness on the nose: dried figs and sultanas, toffee and treacle, with orange zest and ripe apple. Polished oak, vanilla, and cinnamon weave through, while a gentle almond and leather thread hints at maturity and the 30-year cask influence.
Palate
Velvety, full-bodied palate drenched in Oloroso richness: fig and raisin mingle with orange peel, roasted almond and dark chocolate. Candied toffee, spice (nutmeg, cinnamon) and polished oak weave through a long, warming finish.
Finish
Very long, luxurious finish dominated by Oloroso sherry notes—rich dried fig and raisin, orange peel, and dark chocolate—interwoven with toasted almond. Gentle spice weaves through the oak and a touch of leather, fading to a warm, velvety glow that lingers on the palate.
