Glenmorangie Giraffe Tin & Quinta Ruban Single Malt Scotch Whisky 14 Year Old
Out of stock
In the giraffe-high stills at Glenmorangie, it begins soft and fruity, then gets darker and deeper as it is aged for 14 years in bourbon casks and port casks from Portugal. The finished whisky is a thicket of voluptuous flavour combinations. Walnut and black pepper. Mandarin orange and melted marshmallow. Dark chocolate bar and peppermint. And, like stepping into a chocolate-minty-orange unknown, the journey is as delicious as the destination.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep, velvety amber with ruby-tinged mahogany edges and a copper glow.
Nose
Soft and fruit-forward at first, it widens into a dusky, spice-kissed depth from bourbon and Portuguese port casks. Walnut and black pepper frame mandarin orange and melted marshmallow, while hints of dark chocolate and peppermint linger, suggesting a chocolate-mint-orange complexity to come.
Palate
On the palate it opens soft and fruity, then deepens into a luxurious, nutty-spiced core. Walnut and black pepper mingle with mandarin orange and melted marshmallow, while dark chocolate and a peppermint lift linger, finishing with a chocolate-minty-orange resonance.
Finish
Long, velvet-soft finish built on dark chocolate and peppermint, with bright mandarin zest etching the palate. Walnut and black pepper impart a quiet spice, while melted marshmallow sweetness lingers in harmony with a cocoa-dark finish, a graceful nod to its port-cask depth.
