Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-bronze highlights and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose, packed with dark plum, fig and raisin, layered with cocoa, toffee, and nutty notes. Subtle orange zest, leather, and spice weave through a rich oak backbone, finishing with a lingering, warm caramel-dusted sweetness.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this single-cask Glenlochy greets the palate with warming intensity at 54.8% ABV. Rich sherry flavors of dark fig, black cherry and cocoa mingle with orange zest and toasted almond. Spices—cinnamon and clove—thread through velvety oak, a whisper of leather, and a lingering nutty sweetness. The finish is long, elegant, and richly textured, leaving fruit and spice to linger.
Finish
Long, opulent finish of dark chocolate and dried fig, with plum and sherried sweetness. Cinnamon and clove rise, followed by a warming kiss of oak and leather, then a slow fade into espresso, almond and caramel that lingers with refined grace.
