Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with warm copper highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent, mature aromas unfold: dried apricots and figs entwined with orange zest, honey, and vanilla. Rich sherry influence lends cocoa, almond, and leather, while toasted oak and spice—cinnamon and clove—linger with gentle warmth. A velvet, stately nose that promises depth and refinement.
Palate
Silky, full-bodied palate with a lush sherry influence: dried fruits—raisin and fig—alongside orange zest, cocoa, and toasted almond, folded into velvety oak. Rich fruit sweetness gives way to warm spice and a long, lingering finish.
Finish
Opulent, long finish warming with spice and sherry whispers. Toasted oak, dried orange peel, cocoa and almond unfold, giving way to velvety fruit and a lingering vanilla. The high-strength cask leaves a warm, lasting impression with a final note of nutmeg.
