Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with coppery-bronze glow and mahogany edges.
Nose
Elegant and restrained, the nose opens with polished oak and a sherry‑kissed sweetness. Dried fruit notes—raisin, fig, and orange zest—join vanilla, almond and a hint of cocoa, while a whisper of spice (nutmeg, clove) lingers. A maritime lift keeps it fresh, casting a poised, sophisticated halo over the depth to come.
Palate
Silky and patient on the palate, with dark fig and prune sweetness tempered by walnut and orange zest. A lush sherry core swathes polished oak, cacao and drying spice, while a graphite complexity threads through the mid-palate. The finish arrives slowly—raisin, coffee, and a hint of leather—lingering with refined warmth and quiet confidence.
Finish
Long, luxurious finish; dried fruits—raisin, fig—drift with dark chocolate and orange zest, kept company by sherry sweetness. Spice warms the palate, delicate vanilla and oak linger, then a smoky, toasted-wood fade that slowly dissolves into a subtle, refined cedar echo.
