Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with a coppery glow and a hint of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent dried-fruit aromas of fig, prune and date mingle with orange zest and dark chocolate. The Massandra finish adds sherried sweetness, vanilla and toasted almond, with a gentle spice and a whisper of coastal oak.
Palate
Silky and opulent on the palate, with dried fruit sweetness—fig, raisin and date—woven with plum and orange zest. Rich toffee, caramel and vanilla deepen the mid-palate, while nutmeg and clove lend warmth. Subtle Massandra wine-cask influence brings sherry-like walnut and cocoa, guiding a long, polished finish with gentle spice and a lasting chocolatey glow.
Finish
An opulent, long finish of dessert-wine sweetness. Raisin, fig and date unfold with almond, cacao and toffee, guided by velvety oak and a hint of spice. The subtropical Massandra maturation endows a warm, refined sweetness that lingers, slowly fading to a polished, aromatic finish.
