Glenglassaugh Highland Single Malt Scotch Whisky (Old Bottling) 30 Year Old
Out of stock
Gold Medal winner at the San Francisco World Spirits competition 2019
An awesome package in more ways than one, beautifully presented in a teardrop shaped glass decanter style bottle and backed up by equally impressive single malt inside.
The 30 year old was the first new release from this distillery after a couple of decades of being silent before being rescued by The Benriach distillery group in 2013.
So elegant for one so old and easily one of the best value for money 30 year old malts on the market, sublime coastal Speysider that will not dissapoint.
Highly recommended.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber-gold with coppery highlights and a honeyed, sunlit glow.
Nose
Opulent, dessert-laden nose: cherry Genoa cake, red berry pavlova and golden syrup sponge with maple syrup, kissed by mincemeat. A rich backbone of polished antique oak and old leather, tempered by salted caramel and spicy oak, with toasted waffles lending sweetness.
Palate
Salted chocolate meets honeycomb and fig jam, with black cherries and cherry bakewell notes of marzipan. Sultana soaked in sweet sherry threads through ginger biscuits, then layers of rich oak and sweet spice mingle on the long, opulent palate.
Finish
An elegant, long finish of spice and creamy oak, with fig rolls and cherry jam on brown toast, marzipan, salted chocolate, and grapey, cognac-like notes that linger luxuriously.
