The aromas are complex and deep. Layers of sweet almond frangipane, figs, blackberry and ocean spice. This is followed by toasted oak and salted honeycomb. The complexity develops further on the palate, soft exotic fruits like papaya and mango are mingled with cherry. Mellow oak and yellow plum compliment the previous. The finish is soft yet lingering, with notes of caramelized pear, pineapple and pomegranate interlaced with almond and refined oak.
