Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with sunlit honey and coppery undertones, a warm, glowing depth that shimmers into bronze at the rim.
Nose
Opulent and refined, the nose opens with polished European oak, releasing vanilla, toffee, and a whisper of honey. Layered with dried citrus and orchard fruit, a subtle spice—nutmeg and clove—brings warmth, while a touch of barley sweetness lingers in the background.
Palate
Opulent and powerful on the palate, this 38-year-old delivers a velvet oak presence with concentrated vanilla, honeyed orchard fruit, and almond, tempered by waxy toffee. At 59.8%, elegant spice blooms—cinnamon, white pepper—leading to a long, refined finish of citrus zest, leather, and oak resin.
Finish
An exceptionally long, warm finish that slowly unfurls with polished European oak, gentle spice, and subtle citrus. Creamy vanilla threads the palate as orchard fruit fades, leaving a refined, lingering glow that carries elegance and grace long after the last sip.
