Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-bronze depth and a warm mahogany edge.
Nose
Opulent sherry lift floods the nose with dried plum, fig and raisin, interwoven with orange zest, toffee and dark chocolate. Velvet vanilla and toasted almond mingle with warm spice and polished oak, a sly tobacco note emerging beneath the bold, cask-strength intensity.
Palate
Opulent and full-bodied, this Glendullan unfolds with sun-dried raisin, fig and prune, swept in treacle and dark chocolate. Sherry sweetness coats polished oak, while orange zest and spice—cinnamon and clove—lift the mid-palate. A warming, long finish of refined fruit and subtle leather.
Finish
Opulent and long, the finish coats the palate with dried plum and fig, slipping into dark chocolate and toasted oak. Spices—clove and cinnamon—linger with a velvet, ember-warm glow, leaving a subtle nuttiness and a lasting, refined warmth.
