Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and a mahogany edge, glowing with aged sherry warmth.
Nose
Opulent sherry-driven nose: dark dried fruits—raisin, fig, prune—layer with orange peel and apricot. Nutty almond, cocoa, and toffee mingle with warm spices (cinnamon, clove), a whisper of polished oak and malt.
Palate
On the palate it pours with velvet richness and polished sweetness. Deep sherried fruit coats the tongue—raisins, fig, prune—woven with orange zest, toasted walnut, and hints of dark chocolate. Spices emerge: clove, cinnamon, a whisper of espresso. The oak lends structure and a silky, long finish with caramelised notes and a refined nuttiness.
Finish
Long, decadent finish with enduring Sherry sweetness—figs, raisins and dark chocolate. Treasures of walnut, cinnamon and clove drift through, while mellow oak supports the malt. The finish coats the palate, fading to a warm, spicy ember that lingers with refined elegance.
