This limited expression from Glenallachie is finished in red wine casks from Grattamacco, a respected Italian winery in Tuscany’s Bolgheri region known for structured, elegant blends.
After initial maturation in traditional oak, this whisky spends additional time in casks that previously held Grattamacco wine, adding nuanced red fruit, savoury grape and vineyard spice character alongside GlenAllachie’s signature rich Speyside malt profile.

Rich amber with a ruby-copper halo, a wine-kissed glow that hints at the Grattamacco finish.

Bursting with dark chocolate, butterscotch and heather honey, with notes of blackcurrant, caramelised brown sugar and cinnamon spice.
Palate
Waves of ripe red berries and grapefruit mingle with toasted honeycomb, then unfold into butterscotch, sugared fruit and a delicate hint of black truffle.
Finish
Long, elegant finish with red fruit and savoury grape notes, carried by vineyard spice from the Grattamacco cask. Subtle chocolatey undertones and toasted honey collaborate with a gentle tannic lift, leaving a warm, refined echo of the wine-finished Speyside malt.
