GlenAllachie Pure Highland Malt Whisky (1980's Bottling) 12 Year Old
Out of stock
A rare 1980's official distillery bottling of Glenallachie-Glenlivet which is one of very few bottled by the official distiller as the majority of this Whisky ends up going into blends.
A rare insight into a much lesser known Speyside distillery, rarely seen as a single malt and even rarer as an official release.

Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany undertones, exuding a warm, luxurious glow.
Nose
Ripe orchard fruits mingle with autumnal forest floor, touched by heather honey, a wisp of smoke and gorse, ending in a nostalgic thread of old-fashioned toffee.

Rich, fat, and buttery on the palate, with chocolate nibs and cocoa, Nutella on cinnamon bagels, baked apples and runny honey, and a late touch of peppery smoke.
