The GlenAllachie Wood Finish Series consists of signature expressions of their single malts. Specially selected by Master Distiller, Billy Walker. Matured in American Oak Barrels with an additional maturation period in Organic Rye Quarter Casks from Chicago’s Koval Distillery. The wood to liquid ratio is greater meaning the signature Rye spiciness has a greater impact on the spirit. A release of 10,800 bottles.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber-gold with copper-bronze edges and a warm, honeyed glow.
Nose
Full on rich spices, cinnamon and nutmeg, with waves of honey and butterscotch.
Palate
Intense sweet spices rise with honeyed richness, weaving butterscotch, cooking apples and cloves into a lush, warming palate.
Finish
Warm, lingering finish of rye spice from the quarter-cask maturation—cinnamon, clove and nutmeg—woven with honeyed butterscotch. Orchard sweetness drifts away to a drying, spiced oak echo.
