Glen Spey Flora & Fauna Single Malt Scotch Whisky 12 Year Old
In stock
Flora and Fauna, nicknamed by the late whisky writer, Michael Jackson, was a themed series of distillery only single malt whisky releases. Each distillery was given a particular creature as its symbol, which is elegantly displayed on each bottle's beautiful label.
A smooth, pleasant and lighter style single malt Speyside with tropical and fruity notes of ripe peaches pineapple and hints of lemon. Fresh, green nose with wisps of smoke, then light, smooth sweetness balancing to a dry finish.

Tasting Notes
Nose
Soft and green, the nose sits guarded with light fruit—greengages and white grapes. With a splash of water it remains estery yet relatively closed, revealing green pea-pods and a wisp of smoke from dead fires or charred wood. A very faint Elastoplast note lingers, warming into subtle, dry wood as the aroma develops.
Palate
Warming. Light sweetness, with some acidity.
Finish
Dry, medium length. Some chocolate and light coconut in the aftertaste.
