"Some quite first rate port pipes are involved here. Absolutely clean as a whistle and without any form of off note. A distillery i have a very soft spot for showing very unusual depth and age. Brilliant."

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich, deep amber with copper-gold highlights and mahogany edges, a warm, wine-bronze glow.
Nose
Port-driven aromas greet with ripe red berries, plum and fig, folded into a silky toffee sweetness. Subtle vanilla and almond notes rise from polished oak, while a gentle spice threads through. Clean, pristine and surprisingly elegant, the aroma hints at decades of maturation and remarkable depth without a trace of off notes.
Palate
Silky, medium-bodied palate with red-berry sweetness—cherry, plum, and raisin—from the port finish. Rich toffee and dark chocolate layered with polished oak, a whisper of cinnamon and nutmeg. The fruit lingers into a clean, refined finish, with gentle tannins and a warm, aged depth.
Finish
Silky and long, the finish holds a refined port-driven sweetness—ripe plum and cherry compote mingling with fig and cocoa. Subtle spice and toasted oak arise, leaving a warm, velvety fade that lingers with clean, polished complexity.
