The golden amber hues of this nine year old Whisky are reflective of the sweet character imparted by maturation in Virgin Oak.
On the nose there are aromas of Vanilla and coconut, followed by almonds. There is an instant hit of brandy snaps on the palate, which is complimented by marzipan and thick caramel sauce. This is followed by honeycomb and a hint of Demerara sugar. The finish is surprisingly peppery.
