Tasting Notes
Colour
A deep, sun-kissed amber with coppery highlights and a touch of mahogany.
Nose
Opulent sherry-rich aroma blends dark plum and raisin with honeyed vanilla and toffee. Orange zest and almond paste weave through polished oak, while cinnamon and clove lend warm spice. A refined, mature Speyside bouquet—silky, generous, and irresistibly inviting.
Palate
Opulent and resinous on the palate, with a silky, full-bodied mouthfeel. Sweet-sherried notes of fig, raisin and orange peel unfold alongside dark chocolate, toasted almond and spice. Rich oak and subtle smoke lend structure, while hints of candied ginger and caramelized sugar linger into a long, luxurious finish.
Finish
Long and luxurious, the finish coats the palate with sherried sweetness—raisin, fig and cocoa melting into toasted almond. Spices linger: cinnamon and orange zest drift over warm oak, leaving a velvety, honeyed resin that persists with quiet authority.
