This one may not hang around long. A 15 year old ex-Bourbon cask matured Glen Elgin finished in a Tawny Port cask. An exciting, well balanced release that presents flavours of toasted walnut and Highland toffee. The delicate Glen Elgin spirit has married well with the 2nd fill Tawny Port cask, striking a beautiful balance between spirit and wood. This cask yielded 299 bottles and was bottled at a cask strength of 56.7%.

The ex-Bourbon backbone delivers creamy vanilla and soft spice, while the 2nd-fill Port cask adds a subtle fruitiness. Bottled at cask strength, it maintains warmth and length, finishing with a refined nutty sweetness that lingers long.
