Nose

Opulent and inviting, this nose opens with stewed orchard fruits and vanilla, then unfolds into rich sherry notes of dried fig, raisin, and dark caramel. Toasted almond, leather, and cinnamon ride on polished oak, while a creamy, honeyed sweetness lingers under the cask-strength warmth.

Palate

Opulent and full-bodied, this Glen Elgin pours with dense sherry sweetness. Dried fruits—raisin, fig, prune—lap with dark chocolate, orange zest and toasted almond. Vanilla and spice drift through a velvety, oak-spiced frame, while the 56.7% ABV adds a peppery bite. Long, warming finish of Sultana sweetness, coffee, and toasted wood.

Finish

Long, warming finish with sherried depth; dried fig and plum rise, mingling with dark chocolate, espresso and treacle. Cinnamon and clove linger as toasted oak broadens, leaving a velvety, resinous fade that clings and slowly sighs away.
