Out of stock
A distillery that seems to have changed its name more often than most other, much older distilleries. They kept changing the official name from Glen Deveron to MacDuff and back again and now recent bottlings have been simply labeled as "The Deveron" The name of the original founding company was Glen Deveron Distillers Limited.
This is an official bottle release from the 1980's by William Lawson Distillers Limited and specially bottled to commemorate the granting of the Royal Charter to the Burgh of Macduff 1783-1983.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Radiant amber-gold with honeyed warmth and subtle coppery highlights.
Nose
Sherry-kissed aromas rise with dried plums and raisins, vanilla-honey and toasted oak. Pear and apple mingle with fig, almond paste, and a hint of cocoa, while a gentle spice and a whisper of leather lend vintage depth. Elegant, warm, and inviting.
Palate
Silky and fruit-forward, the palate delivers dark fig and raisin with a bright kiss of orange zest, balanced by toasted oak. Sherry-cask warmth brings almonds, cocoa and a gentle spice, woven through a creamy malt. The finish is long and refined, fading on dried fruit and polished wood.
Finish
Long, refined finish with sherried sweetness lingering, ripe raisin, fig and orange zest softening into walnut and almond. Spices unfold gradually, a hint of cocoa and vanilla, then a poised oak warmth that slowly fades into a silky, elegant dry finish.
