Glen Deveron
(glen-DEV-er-en) Glen Deveron is the official single malt name historically used for whisky from Macduff Distillery, a Highland Scotch whisky distillery on the north-east coast near Banff. Built during the post-war whisky boom and producing from 1960, Macduff sits beside the River Deveron close to where it meets the Moray Firth. The distillery later became closely linked to William Lawson’s blended Scotch after being acquired by William Lawson Distillers in 1972.
