This is the sixth and final release of this Dingle Single Malt Batch series. Fully matured exclusively in Tawny Port Casks, Batch 6 is a great example of the interaction between Single Malt spirit and Fortified wine. A whiskey with multiple layers of sweetness and a well-balanced depth of flavour.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Rich amber with copper-gold highlights and a tawny, port-warmed glow.
Nose
Port cask intensity fills the glass with a warm, indulgent aroma: maple syrup waffles, thick-cut marmalade, butterscotch, and crystallised ginger. A rich, inviting sweetness weaves through, hinting at fortified wine and spice.
Palate
Fruit-forward and spicy on the palate, stroopwafels laced with syrup, redcurrant jelly, crushed cranberries, gingerbread, and a note of dark chocolate.
Finish
A lively finish that grows in sweetness, with ginger spice rising and honeyed dates coming to the fore.
