About Dingle

Dingle Distillery was founded in 2012 by Oliver Hughes, Liam LaHart and Peter Mosley, the team behind Porterhouse Brewing. Based in County Kerry on Ireland’s Atlantic coast, it opened as the first purpose-built privately owned distillery to launch in Ireland in more than 150 years.

The distillery has kept a strongly independent, small-scale approach. Its whiskey is triple distilled, matured and bottled in Dingle, with the production process handled in a notably hands-on way from mashing and fermentation through to cask filling and bottling.

Alongside gin and vodka, Dingle has built its whiskey reputation around site-made Irish whiskey from the Kerry distillery itself rather than sourced spirit. In 2025 it introduced a refreshed brand identity and expanded its core whiskey line-up with a 10-year-old single malt and a single pot still release alongside its existing single malt.
