Dimple Deluxe Blended Scotch Whisky (1970's Bottling)
Out of stock
1970's with imperial measurements.
Haig Whisky is the oldest of all scotch whiskies and may even be the oldest whisky in the world. It was first distilled by John Haig in Cameronbridge Scotland in 1824. From these humble beginnings Haig Whisky quickly rose to become one of the most successful and popular Scotch whiskies in the world.
Dimple, part of the Haig family, was named after the unique shape of the Dimple bottle. It is the upmarket brother of Haig Gold with a much more malty influence including single Malt Whiskies from Glenkinchie and Linkwood in the blend.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep burnished amber with coppery glints and mahogany depth.
Nose
Rich malt and toasted barley rise first, followed by sherried dark fruit—raisin, fig and prune—interwoven with caramelized vanilla, almond paste, and polished oak. A delicate, warming nose with a subtle spice lift, hinting at 1970s sherry influence and the blended elegance of Glenkinchie and Linkwood malts.
Palate
Silky, malt-forward and creamy, with toffee and orchard fruit unfurling into a lightly sherried sweetness. Almond, dried raisin and subtle spice weave through polished oak, yielding a refined, long finish where warm malt lingers alongside a gentle sweetness.
Finish
Long, warming finish with malty sweetness and sherried depth; dried fruit and cocoa unfold slowly, edged by orange zest and subtle spice, leaving polished oak and a gentle ember that lingers.
