About Dimple
Dimple is a blended Scotch whisky from John Haig & Co, first introduced in 1893 as a more premium expression within the Haig whisky family. Its name comes from the distinctive three-sided bottle with dimpled panels, one of the most recognisable bottle shapes in blended Scotch. In the United States, the same whisky has also been known as Haig Pinch.
Now owned by Diageo, Dimple remains closely linked to the wider Haig history and the Cameronbridge whisky-making tradition. The best-known expression is Dimple 15 Year Old,bridge whisky-making tradition. The best-known expression a smooth blended Scotch with a heavier malt influence than Haig Gold Label, including malt whisky from distilleries such as Glenkinchie and Linkwood, giving it a rounded style of soft fruit, honey, malt, gentle spice and polished oak.
