Dimple Golden Selection Blended Scotch Whisky (Old Bottling)
Out of stock
Haig Whisky is the oldest of all scotch whiskies and may even be the oldest whisky in the world. It was first distilled by John Haig in Cameronbridge Scotland in 1824. From these humble beginnings Haig Whisky quickly rose to become one of the most successful and popular Scotch whiskies in the world.
Dimple, part of the Haig family, was named after the unique shape of the Dimple bottle. It is the upmarket brother of Haig Gold with a much more malty influence including single Malt Whiskies from Glenkinchie and Linkwood in the blend.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Golden amber with a warm honey hue and a subtle coppery glow.
Nose
Warm, malt-forward nose with toasted barley and honeyed sweetness. Dried apricot and fig mingle with orange zest, almond, and a gentle sherry lift. Subtle oak spice and vanilla linger, hinting at aged malts and refined, velvety richness.
Palate
Silky, malty and refined, with honeyed barley and a creamy texture. Notes of dried fruit, biscuit and toasted oak emerge, shaped by the Glenkinchie and Linkwood malts in the blend. Medium-full on the palate, it finishes long and warming, with subtle spice and a lingering caramel-nut nuance.
Finish
Long, polished finish of malt and caramel that lingers with sherry-tinged dried fruit, a whisper of orange zest, and warm oak. Subtle spice settles on the palate, leaving a velvety, toasted-malt echo that fades to a refined, lingering sweetness.
