The Luminary Collectible begins it’s journey in American white oak, before enjoying maturation in Bespoke “Kintsugi” Casks, first fill Bourbon casks and Italian Amarone red wine casks. Packed with rich notes of citrus, chocolate, cherries, figs and moist ginger cake.
Co-conceived by globally-acclaimed architect Kengo Kuma, designer of V&A Dundee and his protégé Maurizio Mucciola, in hand with Master Distiller, Richard Paterson OBE and Master Whisky Maker, Gregg Glass.
With a collective ambition to push boundaries to realise their potential, inspired by the interplay of light and nature, and the potential which lies within natural materials and ingredients. Together they have created two very special single malts, The Rare and The Collectible.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold reflections and a mahogany hue.
Nose
Radiant citrus lifts a core of dark chocolate and ripe cherries. Dried figs and moist ginger-cake spice weave through, touched by toasted oak and vanilla. A warm, luxurious depth emerges, delivering a layered, celebratory aroma that hints at the Luminary's rare, collectable character.
Palate
A luxurious, mouth-coating palate of bright citrus, dark chocolate and sun-kissed cherries, with ripe figs and a hint of moist ginger cake. Creamy vanilla and subtle toffee from the American oak and first-fill bourbon mingle with the Bespoke Kintsugi influence, while Amarone casks deepen the fruit, finishing with a warm, raisin-tinged sweetness.
Finish
Long and stately, the finish opens with bright citrus zest, then settles into dark chocolate and dried figs, while cherries emerge with a ginger-cake spice. A delicate oak warmth from the bespoke cask influence lingers, leaving a refined, luminous glow that persists with elegant grace.
