Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep coppery amber with ruby-tinged mahogany highlights.
Nose
Opulent perfume of red fruits and rich toffee, with port-cask influence unfurling a velvety sweetness. Raspberry, dark plum and fig mingle with hazelnut and chocolate, kissed by vanilla and toasted oak. Subtle spice—cinnamon and clove—adds a warm, luxurious lift, supported by a polished, resinous oak backbone.
Palate
Silky and full-bodied, this whisky coats the palate with orange zest, dark chocolate and vanilla caramel, tempered by plush red fruit from port cask aging. Raisin and fig mingle with toasted oak and a gentle spice, delivering a velvety texture and subtle tannins. The finish is long and decadent, with cocoa, toffee and lingering warm spice.
Finish
Silky, long finish dominated by port-finished richness: dried fig and red plum weave with dark chocolate and orange zest, backed by gentle spice. The sweetness slowly fades to a warm, resinous oak nuance, leaving a refined, lasting velvet warmth.
