The Dalmore 25 is released in very limited quantities. They only make 3000 bottles of this globally per year. For consistency of flavour, master blender Richard Paterson uses whiskies whish range from 25 years old to 33 years old. This 25 Year Old Dalmore Single Malt is matured in a mixture of American Oak Ex-Bourbon Barrels, Tawny Port pipes, and sweet Palomino Fino Sherry Casks. This is a superb dram and very elegantly presented in a beautiful box.

Tasting Notes
Colour
Deep amber with copper-gold highlights and burnished mahogany edges; a lustrous, wine-dark robe that hints at sherry- and port-influenced maturity.
Nose
A luxurious nose of exotic fruits, marzipan and vanilla pods, interwoven with treacle toffee, fig cake and a kiss of sweet balsamic.
Palate
Orange peel opens to chocolate truffles and liquorice, with sweet damsons and sherry-soaked raisins weaving through a plush, cocoa-dusted palate. A refined, lasting warmth rounds out the finish.
Finish
Long, velvet finish of Demerara sugar and maple syrup; bittersweet chocolate softens the sweetness while a whisper of spiced gingerbread lingers, imprinting a warm, refined finale.
